Private blood pressure calibration service will take place in November 2015.

(Date confirmed as Tuesday 24th November 2015, please bring your machine in the day before on Monday 23rd November 2015)

In conjunction with our PPG (Patient Participation Group) we decided to offer patients to bring they own private blood pressure machines and get those calibrated once a year. Our machines are being calibratred annually to make sure they are reading accurately. Without annual calibration it can't be ascertained that the readings are correct, so your home readings might be unreliable.

Currently there is no local service providing calibration for patients own machines, so we thought it will be a good idea to offer one. Unfortunately we have to pay for that service, so please contact the surgery and speak to our finance member of staff who will let  you know the cost. Last year the cost was £9.95.

The date of calibration is Tuesday 24th November 2015,, so please bring in your machine the day before, Monday 23rd November 2015, leave it at the reception and then collect it after calibration and payment.
